| Come
share our history: One Hundred years
of Serenity! Built in 1899, the Inn
on Mapleton Hill has served as a haven
of hospitality since its original
owner, a Canadian sea captain's daughter,
took in boarders. Meticulously remodeled
to preserve its character and charm,
the inn offers seven individually
decorated guestrooms and is furnished
throughout with antiques. Most of
the rooms have queen beds and private
baths, and some include marble fireplaces.
The "Cottonwood," the jewel
of our inn, has a sitting room whose
French doors open onto a private second-floor
balcony with views of Boulder's dramatic
Flatiron Peaks. Our location is unmatched:
While we're only two block from the
Pearl Street Mall, a festive promenade
of shopping and dining, we front on
a quiet residential street in the
Mapleton Hill Historic District, where
Boulder's earliest citizens built
grand homes. Our inn's atmosphere
is friendly, and the Great Room, study
and veranda all offer spots to converse,
read or simply relax. Guests enjoy
a bountiful breakfast, including a
hot entree, with freshly baked goods
and custom blended coffee, and are
welcome to return later in the day
for such refreshments as tea, lemonade
hot cider or hot cocoa. For our business
guests, the rooms are equipped with
modem-compatible phone lines, and
we offer fax service. All guests can
take advantage of our special discount
at a nearby health club. |
